Hosting a baby shower? An Afternoon tea party @ The Tudor Rose is the perfect way for the mum-to-be to get together with family and friends to celebrate before the new baby arrives. Whether you are planning for yourself or surprising a loved one we can help you make it an occasion to remember.

Our baby shower package includes:

Traditional Afternoon tea menu: A selection of crustless finger sandwiches, warm Devonshire scone, Tiptree strawberry jam, Rodda’s clotted cream, a slice of homemade cake and a variety of dainty delights Plus, unlimited pots of Drake blend Plymouth tea of filter coffee.

Decorate the room to suit your individual theme

Private room for groups over 15 guests

2 hours for your party

Full drinks menu available should you wish to purchase alternative drinks.

£23 per person

Weather permitting, host your Afternoon tea party in our elegant English garden.

Why not make it extra special and BYO bottle @ £5 per bottle corkage.

Beautiful Roast Wonderful roast lunch in a lovely garden. Attentive, caring staff. Roast was done to perfection .Wonderful cordial to drink and a beautiful pudding all for 14 pounds. The afternoon teas that others were having looked beautiful too.

Sunday Dinner Went for Sunday Roast Dinner, on the spur of the moment. Very busy but got us in. Quick to deliver food and fantastic quality. Would highly recommend.

Sunday roast - best in Plymouth Me and my partner got a gift voucher for a 2 course Sunday roast at The Tudor Rose. Today we were kid free so booked a table in advance. Now I won't lie, I was quite a bit hungover this morning. But resisted stuffing my face at home and instead saved myself for the roast.Quite simply the best roast I've had for ages. Choice was pork or turkey. I went for the pork, my missus had the turkey. Both lovely. In fact, I'm declaring this the best roast in Plymouth!

Fabulous!!! The roasts here are incredible! Beautiful food with all the trimmings! Enjoyed a fabulous afternoon here today with friends for our Christmas dinner. Everything was perfect. Thank you Tudor Rose for a beautiful meal and a wonderful setting to have it in.

Festive afternoon tea I visited with my mother in law, husband and 11 month old daughter for festive afternoon tea. The food was very tasty (mince pie rocky road - yum!), well presented and the atmosphere welcoming. We were especially grateful for how accommodating they were for our daughter- a decent high chair, offer of a cushion to prop her up as she is quite tiny and they were happy for her to have her own food as she is weaning. Going out to eat with a young child isn't always easy but the staff at the Tudor Rose made us feel very welcome as a family. We will definitely return.
